Our Six Step Process for designing/building your dream home
Our experience and robust processes will help simplify the building process, making the experience simple and exciting for you and your family. Following is a brief overview of our process:
1. Vision & Goals Meeting
Meet with one of our team to discuss your vision and goals for your build, and share or work together on your brief.
2. Estimate of Costs provided
We will provide you with a Fee Estimate for the total cost of our design work. Our fee structure is competitive and depending on the project we can usually offer a fixed price quotation.
3. Site Visit & Preliminary Plan
Once confirmation of our services is agreed one of our dedicated team members will meet with you on your selected site and will then provide a preliminary sketch plan concept for your approval.
4. Developed Sketch Plans
Once you have approved the preliminary sketch plan we will prepare developed sketch plans, floor plans, elevations for pricing and construction purposes.
5. Council Consent Process
Once you have obtained a building budget figure, we complete your working drawings/ specifications and all documentation for the building consent application and submit it to your local council on your behalf. We will liaise with council for granting your building consent.
6. Construction of your home
Once consent has been granted you will be in a position to move forward with your chosen builder to construct your home!
